We always enjoy reading new age music reviews in regular media. As you know, “serious” music critics do not much like being associated with the genre. This comment in the Columbus’ News & Entertainment Weekly paper put a smile upon our faces:

A sure sign of the end times: I’ve been listening (gulp) to (gulp, gulp) a little bit of (deep gagging sound here), uh, New Age music.

And more:

Sacred Drum Visions by David and Steve Gordon is high on my early a.m. playlist. I put it on when I am oozing from the dead, transfusing coffee straight into my system, trying to get into humanoid-boogie-machine mood in order to deal with my day of High Street retail.

They mine the Native American Indian thing with a gooey sonic gauze of mournful, fuzzy flute wavering over mellow, meandering drums with some sort of mildly humming keyboard in the mix. Sounds exciting, eh?
