New age music blog updates; We just want to thank Patroux, Mark Hill and Mark Pinkus who has been signing our guestbook lately. Thank you for the kind words :)

PostHeaderIcon World of WordPress

We have, as you can see, just launched brand new design! We now use WordPress, world’s most popular blogging software. The reason for this change was that we wanted to give you these nice features:

  • Tagged articles, which makes it easier to find everything about your favorite artist or new age music sub genre
  • User Comments without registration.
  • When we made the new design, we kept the elements we liked and threw away the rest. The result is a new, fresh design, optimized for readability.

You might argue that WordPress is not the most original blogging tool out there. And that is true. But when it comes to the technical aspects of running a site like this, our policy is easy: always use the best possible platform. And this time around that meant WordPress.

We are happy to tell you that our web radio station, New Age Stars, now has room for even more listeners. The free, CD quality stream has bandwidth for 80 listeners at the same time, plus an unlimited number of paying listeners.

We do our very best to give you the ultimate new age music, in close co operation with the artists. Enjoy!

PostHeaderIcon MOG.com Gets Extreme Makeover

Our partner Mog.com has launched its new and fresh design. The goal is to make it easier to discover the latest and greatest in music. The new front page is updated 24/7 all year round. We here at NewAgeMusic.nu are extremely proud to present our news and reviews to MOG’s audience of over 5.7 million music lovers.

You’ll find our corner on Mog here.

PostHeaderIcon Service Announcement to Artists

Here at newagemusic.nu we have had artists request their presence be known by way of album reviews and interviews on our website, while other artists fortunately have responded to our requests for interviews, and have enjoyed working with talented musicians spanning the globe. It has also been our pleasure to have received notes of thanks from artists who have noticed increasing sales of albums due to their exposure here at newagemusic.nu.

But we must also stress that a review does not always leads to sales: sometimes it takes a little more time to get the word out about great music. Our response to those artists is that we are always happy to offer you another approach to put a spotlight on your work. This is very rewarding to us and we enjoy what we do here and will continue to offer both artist and our readers a place where New Age music lovers everywhere can come together to discover the best music available.

Newagemusic.nu is truly a world wide website! One example can be the recent review of Salva Moreno of Psicodreamics, who is more recognized in the U. K. and Continental Europe, but now has greater exposure to the U.S. market. Likewise, the most recent artist who will be up for album reviews and has also agreed to an interview is Vicki Logan, who is recognized most in the U.S. while lesser known in overseas markets. Greater recognition for our artists is what we do, and we are here for you.

The upcoming interview and album reviews will give readers around the world insight into the music of Vicki Logan, and the outstanding musicians we plan to be working with and writing about in the future. Soon the spotlight will be on Vicki Logan who is a bright star in the New Age music genre, and most certainly a valid contender on the world stage.
