The Lafayette newspaper Jconline.com has interviewed Jeff Pearce about his recent success. His album Rainshadow Sky has been in the top 15 of the Billboard new age charts for several months, and he won the CD of the Year at the 2008 New Age Reporter awards. And his music is really having an impact. Pearce says:

I am not making this up: After one show, a guy told me his doctor took him off his high blood pressure meds since he started listening to my music. At the end of the day, he would have this ritual where he would listen to my CD and relax before bed.
