New album from John Adorney

The title of John Adorney’s new album, his 5th solo release, is The Fountain. Mr. Adorney writes: ”Those of you who are familiar with my music might hear this CD as a continuation of my others (although you might notice a little more flavor from India). On the song Comme Le Vent, I collaborated once again with my friend Marcel Adjibi, who composed the lyrics to my music; and on the song Even in Your Darkest Hour, Daya’s lovely vocals are once again featured.”

What have made John Adorney into a new age music super star are his wonderful and positive melodies. Thit is his trademark, his musical fingerprint. Also his tasteful arrangement and instrument use, which is never totally electronic nor 100 % acoustic – but somewhere between. It is always an interesting mix.

After listening to the samples from The Fountain on John Adorney’s newly redesigned homepage, I feel sure that he has created yet another fine album that takes his musical expression even further. This time around you can notice some new Indian influences, as mentioned above, and a somewhat more electronic approach.

Another new age super star is quoted on the page. Diane Arkenstone says: “John’s musical ability is a beautiful marvel. His new CD, The Fountain, overflows with sparkling melodies and rhythms that only John can capture. I am enchanted.”

I am sure you and I will be so too :)
