In this hectic world we are all looking of relaxation and a positive vibe, and this is what you get when you buy a Cybertribe album. This German group, headed by John Deere, has released several incredible albums. John Deere went from making house and rave music to ambient and new age, or ethnic worldbeat if you will. It all started when Deere met Australian Didgeridoo player Marshall Whyler. Deere was attracted by the Australian culture and heritage as if by magic. Together with his former partner Bryan de Rose he invited Whyler to his studio in Germany to record some songs, which built the base of the first Cybertribe project called Sacred Memories of the Future, released in 1998. Since then they have released seven albums.

One of my favorites is Eons of Dignity, released in 2004. Here you’ll get 8 fresh, rhythmical tracks that in style are somewhere between Buddha Bar and Enigma. The opening track, To The Moon, has a catchy melody and a nice drive that almost[take you to the moon itself. The track Poseidon’s Gate is 12 minutes long, like an album inside the album. Simply wonderful. Other great tracks are Autumn Spirit and Cascade Of Light.

Cybertribe has so many great albums, so I cannot say that Eons of Dignity is their very best. But it is still an impressive album, with a lot of energy that makes you relax and dream. So get yourself some eons of dignity, and you”ll be recharged in no time.
